    the trend of male candidates who appeared in Civil Services Examination 2009. It may be seen that highest percentage (25.3%) amongst the appeared male candidates were from the age group of 21-24 years. However, among the recommended candidates the
    highest percentage (25.6%) of males recommended, were from the age group of 26-28 years.

It may be seen that highest percentage (37.5%) amongst the appeared female candidates were from the age group of 21-24 years. However, among the recommended candidates the maximum percentage (27.2%) of female candidates recommended were from the age group of 24-26 years.
